As a trained artist, I love creating memorable, edible works of art. Whether you are looking for a focal, stand out cake for 400 guests, or an understated yet elegant cake for 40, I can accommodate you. I have been baking for brides in Orange County, California for ten years and have a five-star rating. As a recent resident of Winston-Salem with a certified bakery, I love getting to know my new hometown and the nearby gorgeous venues. Though new to the area, I am honored to have been offered preferred vendor status at multiple venues in the Piedmont Triad. Specializing in creative, artistic, tiered cakes using multiple mediums, you can count on me to create a stunning cake for you. The cake of your dreams is within reach.

Whether you love fondant, buttercream or ganache; whether you want natural flowers, cake lace or gumpaste floral creations; whether gold leaf or a naked cake, Artsy Cakesy will not disappoint. We have decadent flavors, including triple chocolate, lemon blueberry, and lavender, or you might prefer an understated and delicious vanilla bean. Whatever it is that you love, I can bake it. I am a certified and insured home baker and I'll be with you every step of the way so that you have one less thing to be concerned with. 

I have worked with all types of people, all ethnicities, all backgrounds, and in all types of neighborhoods. I have baked wedding cakes that were served at the elite Pelican Hill Resort and Ritz Carlton, to weddings in rented halls and homes. Each wedding is a priceless gift that I am truly honored to be a part of.

I am a child of God, a wife, a mom and an artist. I started baking when my first daughter turned one. I could not afford the cake I wanted for her, so I made it. It really wasn't great, but it stirred a passion in me for a new artistic medium - cake. I have been mixing, baking and decorating ever since!
 

CREATING YOUR DREAM CAKE

What is the process?

First, we schedule a tasting for you and yours, where we get to know one another over cake.
We discuss your vision and create a plan for the cake. If you love my idea, we then sign a contract and I receive a 50% retainer, The remainder of the payment is due 72 hours prior to the wedding, which leaves one less thing for you to be concerned about. Then, you enjoy an amazing day where you get to have your cake, and eat it too!
